It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcel Edward Clause of Labadieville, Louisiana, who passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jo Frank Clause; his parents, Irene Landry Clause and Edward Clause of Labadieville; his sister Joylove Clause Toups (Wayne) of Thibodaux; his parents-in-law, Annie Dupuy Frank and Allen Frank of Bunkie; and his brothers-in-law, W. G. Dopson of Bunkie and Alfred "Al" Frank (Peggy) of Pascagoula, MS.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Clause Ruester (Chris) and Marc Clause (Maria); his grandchildren, Michael Ruester (Tiffany), Rebecca Ruester, Thomas Clause and Mary Clause; his sisters, Patsy Clause Zeringue (Odel) of Labadieville and Faye Clause Gallagher (Ron) of Labadieville; his sisters-in-law, Janell "Nell" Frank Dopson of Bunkie and Karen Frank Davis (Chuck) of Lafayette; and also Helen Granier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Philomena Catholic Church.
