It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irma Coupel Pennison (Labadieville, Louisiana), born in Pierre Part, Louisiana, who passed away on May 13, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ulysse Pennison; her parents, Lesin Coupel and Rosalie Gaudet Coupel; and her siblings, Philomena Talbot, Geneva Templet and Nacisse Coupel.
She is survived by: her children, Huey J. Pennison, Patricia P. White (Ronald) and Faron A. Pennison (Robin); and her siblings, Theresa Gauthreaux and Herman Coupel. She is also survived by six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
