He was predeceased by: his father Shelby Giroir, Sr.; his brothers, Shelby Giroir, Jr. and Billy Giroir; and his parents-in-law, Emile Richard and Jeanne Marie Richard.
He is survived by: his mother Ann Giroir; his wife Amelia Richard Giroir; his children, Glen Giroir, Jr. (Jennifer) and Katie Matherne (Cody); his grandchildren, Caleb Michael, Camille Grace, Graham Elliott, Emile Anthony, Felix Michael and Henry James; and his siblings, Daniel Giroir (Lora), Nadine Arcement (Paul) and Renee Hicks (Randy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
