With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerard Oncale of Labadieville, Louisiana, born in Thibodaux, Louisiana, who passed away on October 1, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, C. L. "Jero" Oncale, Jr. and Joyce Landry Oncale; and his brothers, James C. Oncale and Neal J. Oncale. He is survived by: his wife Jane Gros Oncale; his daughter Angela M. Oncale; his granddaughters, Abbie B. Bourg (Dustin) and Aimee B. Landry (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Caroline Jane Landry, Oliver James Bourg and Patrick John Landry; his sister-in-law Patrice Lasseigne Oncale; his niece Lori O. Peters (Geoffrey); his nephew Byron J. Oncale (Candace); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Abbigail C. Duplantis, Katherine Nealie Peters, Jaxon Oncale, Rhett Oncale, Hudson Peters and Luke Peters. He is also survived by his family and friends.
