She was predeceased by: her husband Sterling Ponvelle; her granddaughter Alesha Marie Ponvelle; her parents, Raphael Gautreaux and Cora Gautreaux; and her siblings, Ula Himel, Herman and Robert Gautreaux.
She is survived by: her son Steve Ponvelle (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Travis Ponvelle (Amber), Victoria Bimah Templet and Victor Bimah; her great grandchildren, Hunter Ponvelle, Ryan Templet, Brycen Cannella and Brynlee Cannella; and her caregivers, Cody, Agalia and Betty Syverson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Philomena Catholic Church (118 Convent St, Labadieville, LA 70372). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
