She is survived by: her children, Darryl A. Hawkins, Karen A. Shortridge and Cynthia Shortridge-Scott; her siblings, Ray C. (Patricia), Murphy P. (Evelina), Oscar, Jr. (Diane), Bernell (Constance), Ruby Mae Hawkins and Joyce H. Turner (Bobby); her daughter-in-law Mahalia Shortridge; her aunt Beulah R. Bolt; and her sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Pippens, Genevia D. Hawkins, Devoted and Gloria P. Thomas. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
