It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Electa Fletcher Mickens of Labadieville, Louisiana, who passed away on January 27, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Vincent Mickens, Jr., Sydney Mickens, Megan Adams, Rashad Fletcher and Kirk Fletcher, Jr.; her former husband Vincent Mickens, Sr.; her sisters, Leona Fletcher, Sandra Fletcher, Marrion Green (Lionel Green) and Eliska Etienne (Keith); her cousin Delerner Bank; and her aunts, Rose Meads and Betty Turner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Mark Baptist Church (106 HWY 1014, LABADIEVILLE, LA). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
