She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecile Nelson and Ernest Thomas; her daughter Lynnell Smith; and her brothers, Joseph Nelson, Jr., Otis Joseph and Richard Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Falencia Smith and Michelle Smith; and her sisters, Maryanne Williams (Curtis) and Virginia Curtis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the St. Paul Baptist Church (162 LA-400, Napoleonville, LA 70390). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
