He was predeceased by: his wife Ida Mae Bolotte Blanchard; his parents, Cyprien Blanchard Sr. and Alcide LeBlanc Blanchard; and his siblings, Emile, Herman, Roland, Leslie, Thomas, James, Clarence, Elma Morvant, Jeanne Davidson and Grace Duchman.
He is survived by: his children, Ricardo Blanchard, Cecile Clause (Everett) and Natalie Richard (Brad); and his grandchildren, Donny (Beth), Rene (Tonya), Craig Clause, Ashley Sandlin (Carl) and Brooke Richard. He is also survived by seven beautiful great-grandchildren.
