We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2021, at the age of 68, Brenda Sanders Talbert of Labadieville, Louisiana passed away. She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Talbert; her parents, Colie Sanders and Ruth Sanders; and her siblings, Colie Sanders, Jr., Michael "Spuggie" Sanders, Linda Marie Sanders, Linda Ruth Sanders, Fay Matunda and Cynthia Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Tammi L. Talbert, Shawn Talbert (Andrea), Wendell Talbert (Nakeshia), Vernon Sanders (Tasha) and Valerie T. Dorsey (Frank); and her brother Donald Sanders. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A walk-through visitation will be conducted from 5-7 p. m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S. Hollywood Road in Houma. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing with the recommendation of signing the registry book, viewing and exiting).
