He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Boyd; his parents, Johnny Boyd, Jr. and Margaret Walker Boyd; his children, Rodney Carter, Chris Carter (Julia), Bobby Boyd, Jr., Kimberly Tolbert (Ashraf), Keith Boyd (Chawanna) and Javon Boyd; his stepson James Phillips (Shatira); and his siblings, Johnny Boyd III (Narvalee), Glen Boyd (Telesa), Gisele Bennet and Joan Mills (Trent). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
