It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin J. Bergeron of Labadieville, Louisiana, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Brownia Bergeron; his parents, Emile Bergeron and Leonie Richard; and his siblings, Pearl Richard Albert and Rivers Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Patrice Bergeron Shavor and Alvin J. Bergeron, Jr. (Lydia); his grandchildren, Tania L. Shavor, Becky Boudreaux and Rusty Bergeron; his great grandchildren, Elijah and Madeline Boudreaux; and his sister Shirley Richard Chaisson.
