He was predeceased by: his wife Ginger Johnson; his daughter Ronda Gayle Johnson Kaiser; his brothers, Ronald Anthony Johnson, Eddie Laurence Johnson and Carlton Andrew Johnson; and his parents, Joseph Avery Johnson and Angelique Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Terry Johnson (Tessie), John "Joey" Johnson (Wendy) and Jeremy Johnson; his grandchildren, Amber, Kristen, Betsy, Shelby, Kayla, Halie, Kolby, Kira, Tristan, Gabbie and Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Reagan, Josi, Ava, Alyssa, Jaci, Lyric, Hayes, Owen, Tinsley, Hadley, Isaac, Deven, Brayli and Crislyn.
