He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Granier Martinez; his daughter Judith Martinez; his parents, Eugenia Torres Martinez and Joseph Edwin Martinez; and his brothers, George and Raymond Martinez.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Butler (Clyde Jr.), Janice Portier (Nolan Jr.), Deborah Boudreaux, Phyllis Robinson (Chris), Gloria Dempster (Don) and Lawrence "Larry" Leo Martinez Jr. (Joy); his grandchildren, Erin Butler, Kasey Keller, Joshua Portier, Lacey Theriot, Jena Parfait, Tiffany Millen, Gerard Boudreaux, Jacob Daigle, Brent Daigle, Ashley Fox, Dylan Dempster, Colin Dempster and Paige Bascle; and his brother Marion Martinez. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
