He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Lee Kraemer Nicholas; his son Danny Nicholas; his parents, Sidney Nicholas and Elise Larousse Nicholas; and his siblings, Lucy Reulet, Betty Becnel and Hilton Nicholas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Nicholas (Cris) and Donna Nicholas Brock; his siblings, Emery Nicholas (Esther), Elicio Nicholas (Mary) and Stella Gautreaux (Camille); and his grandchildren, Shan, Kris, Heather, Danny and Janie. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
