She is survived by: her husband Wesley Cortez; her daughter Dana Cortez; and her siblings, Thomas, Michael, Jimmie Duet, Beverly Marcel, Mary Gagneaux, Lorraine LeBlanc, Annette Hebert, Carol Duet, Roberta Jennings, Melissa Duet, Tracy Duplantis and Dawn Popay.
