She was predeceased by: her husband Ozema Cortez; her children, Keith Cortez and Sybil Cortez; and her parents, Amelia Marie Ockman Brock and Aurelien Brock Sr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth, Regina Cortez and Vanessa Chiasson; and her brother Henry Brock. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
