It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Callen Dempster (Kraemer, Louisiana), who passed away on November 24, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Onezime Dempster and Odette Cortez Dempster; and his siblings, Steven Dempster, Alton "Sque" Dempster and Azema "Zam" Traigle.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Louise Simon Dempster; his children, Steven Dempster (Rosetta), Callen Dempster, Jr. (Annette), Barnett "Joe" Dempster (Teli), Tana Dempster, Jan Martinez (Mark), Marla Loupe (Randall) and Annette Glad (Matt); and his siblings, Jessie Dempster, Darrel Dempster, Carrie Loupe, Linda Larousse and Beverly Poynter. He is also survived by husband, and an amazing, unselfish provider for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
