He is survived by: his spouse Virginia Ryland McVay of Kolin; his son Michael Gerald McVay, Jr.; his wife Jennifer of Kolin; his daughters, Deanna Freeman (Eric) of Suffolk, VA., Sherry Dardar (Jake) of Pineville, Melinda McLain (Marvin) of Pineville and Jennifer Sartin (Ashley) of Kolin; his siblings, Keith Lynn McVay of West Monroe and Cynthia Diane McVay of Point; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Freeman, Trevor Freeman, Anna Dardar, Nate Dardar, Austin McLain, Hunter McLain, Madelyn McVay and Dylan McVay.
