She was predeceased by: her husband Deacon Frederick LaPoint (Freddie); her sons, Ricky LaPoint and Frederick LaPoint Jr.; and her grandson Landon Monceaux. She is survived by: her children, Roderick LaPoint, Rodney LaPoint, Ronald LaPoint, Randal LaPoint, Roland LaPoint, Rita Ann LaFargue, Roxanne Butts, Rhonda Fay LaPoint and Mary LaPoint.
