She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Levon and Mary Thomas; her mother-in-law Elmira Lavan; her aunt Estella McMahon; her uncle Zeno Thomas; and her sister-in-law Vanessa Lavan.
She is survived by: her husband Erick Lavan, Sr.; her parents, Ray Charles and Helen Captain; her children, Terence Gross, Elmira Lavan, Sha'Myra Lavan, Erick Lavan, Jr., Tre'Lavan and Heaven Lavan; her grandchildren, Zion, Karter, Zane and Z. K.; and her siblings, Ronald Gross and Demetrius Gross.
