She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Elam and Irma Elam; and her brother Darrell Elam. She is survived by: her husband Philip Karl Gary; her children, Tara Lynn Gary Dotson (Michael Dotson, Sr.), Laura Anne Duplantis (Dustin Duplantis) and Philip Aaron Gary (Angel Gary); her grandchildren, Michael Dotson, Jr., Drake Dotson, Jaxson Duplantis, Eudora Welch, Teagan Gary and Taron Gary; her great grandchild Seth Allen Dotson; and her brother Scott Elam.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home - Kinder (315 N 14th St, Kinder, LA 70648). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Reed Chapel at Riley Smith & Sons (315 N 14th St, Kinder, LA 70648). A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:20 PM at the Creel Cemetery.
