He is survived by: his spouse Mayona Fontenot Steed; his children, Deb Krull of Guam, Pam Fossett (Ron) of Lake Charles, Rod Steed, Jr. of Kinder, LA and Karen Unkel (Kurt) of Kinder, LA; his siblings, Bob Steed (Becky) of Portland, OR and Pat Wilson (Gerry) of Portland, OR; and his grandchildren, Brian Young, Stina LeBlanc, Travis Fossett, Chrissie Gubancsik, Jesse Unkel, Seth Unkel and Lindsay Unkel. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
