It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip V. Hooker II of Kinder, Louisiana, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Vaughn Hooker and Cindy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Kailey Istre Hooker; his daughter Margaret Anne; his parents-in-law, Charlie and Candie Istre; his sister-in-law Kortney Istre McMillian (Skylar); his sister Stephanie Hooker; and his niece Madison.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home - Kinder (315 N 14th St, Kinder, LA 70648). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Reed Chapel at Riley Smith & Sons (315 N 14th St, Kinder, LA 70648). A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Green Oak Cemetery.
