She is survived by: her friend Henry Tyler; her children, Chester Ray (Norma) of San Diego, CA, Mable Jean of Oberlin, LA, Henry Jr. (Ellen) of Glenmora, LA, Jimmy Louis of San Antonio, TX, Naomi Ruth Larry (Robert) of Oakdale, Gregory Ames (Minnie) of Newton, TX, Leo Marshall (Lupe) of Houston, TX, Loretta Jane Celestine (Richard) of Sulphur, Virginia Lee Cannon (Ambrose) of Shreveport, John Stephen (Suzette) of Oberlin, LA, Gloria Dale Peters (John) of Lake Charles, LA, Ken Patrick of Baton Rouge, LA and Ronald Piper (Marier) of Lake Charles, LA; her siblings, Jimmie Harmon, Jr. (Alice) and Annie Sam; her sister-in-law Vergie Nell Harmon; and her godchild Latissia Lavan-Fredericks of Oberlin, LA. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives, and friends.
