She is survived by: her children, Darrell Nguyen, John Nguyen (Melanie), Amanda Nguyen and Jerrica Hale (Josh); her siblings, Brenda Oliver (Charles), Olita Pommier, James Broussard and Alvin Broussard; and her grandchildren, Zander, Parker, Masan, Maxan, Madey and Braylee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
