She was predeceased by: her parents, Lindsey Soileau and Hazel Poullard Soileau; her husband Jeff Brandon; and her brother Lawrence Soileau Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Rosalie Artis, Jason Artis, Gary W. Artiste (Courtney) and Amanda Edwards; and her sister Georgiana "Tut" Simon. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
