She was predeceased by: her husband William O. Barrett Sr.; her daughter Jackie Guidry; her son-in-law Guy Lambright; her granddaughter Kala Lambright; and her great grandchild Brycen Wells.

She is survived by: her children, Rita Lambright of Kinder and Clayton Barrett (Wilma VanDyke); and her grandchildren, Nelson Guidry (Megan Willis) of Oakdale and Heather Wells (Davonte Jarred) of Kinder. She is also survived by two great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters.
