He is survived by: his wife Monica Kelly Lewis; his children, Gia Maria Lewis and LeVar Anthony Lewis (Nicondra); his grandchildren, Zuri Anysia Grows, Zendé Aidan Grows and Gage Anthony Lewis; his siblings, Faye L. Gauthier, Glenda L. Darensbourg (Jerry), Norma L. Louis (Arthur) and Nelson Lewis, Jr.; his son-in-law Raymond Grows; his siblings-in-law, Nova H. Lewis and Adrian Kelly; his godchildren, John Darensbourg, Sr., James Lumar and Shannon Edwards; and his cousin Layn Morris. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews.
