It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louie Layton (Kilbourne, Louisiana), who passed away on December 12, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Layton and Reatha Layton; his siblings, Bobby Layton, Malcom Layton and Shirley Fern Layton; and his mother-in-law Chris Burgess.
He is survived by: his wife Linnie Layton of Kilbourne, LA; his children, Christy Simpson (Doug) of Oak Grove, LA and Kenneth "Marty" Layton (Rachael) of Oak Grove, LA; his grandchildren, Shelby McAlpin (Jake) of Kilbourne, Kennedy Simpson of Kilbourne, Britni Simpson of Oak Grove, Colt Simpson of Oak Grove, Luke Layton of Oak Grove, Joe Thomas Layton of Oak Grove, Eli Layton of Oak Grove, Kason McAlpin of Kilbourne and Layton McAlpin of Kilbourne; and his sister Geraldine "Sissy" McNaughton of Kilbourne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
