He was predeceased by: his son Eddy Mack Brown; his parents, Leon Farrell Brown and Mabel Beatrice Brown (Adams); and his brother Allen Brown. He is survived by: his wife Melba Brown (May) of Pensacola, Florida; his daughter Debrah Hodgkins of Kilbourne, Louisiana; his son-in-law Randy Fuller of Kilbourne, Louisiana; his daughters, Lulu Brown of Kilbourne, Louisiana and Teresa; his son-in-law David Sullivan of Lake Providence, Louisiana; and his daughter Katie Brown of Pensacola, Florida. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
