It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evie Jo McClendon of Kilbourne, Louisiana, who passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Otha McClendon; her parents, Ray Sampson Thornhill and Syble Marilyn Pardn; and her brother Kenneth Ray Thornhill. She is survived by: her daughter Angela; her son-in-law Chris Hill of Kilbourne, Louisiana; her daughter Jackie Huffty of Kilbourne, Louisiana; her grandchildren, A. J. Hill of Washington, DC, Lacey Hill of Kilbourne, Louisiana, Luke Hill of Kilbourne, Louisiana, Dylan Hill of Kilbourne, Louisiana, Chase Huffty of Kilbourne, Louisiana, Landon Jones of Kilbourne, Louisiana, Felicia Huffty of Kilbourne, Louisiana and Mike Huffty of Kilbourne, Louisiana; and her siblings, Virginia Pardon of Oak Grove, Louisiana, Johnny Pardon (Lynell) of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Gary Thornhill (Gail) of Surprise, Arizona. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
