She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Smith and Vivian Jenkins Smith; and her brothers, Nick Harvey Smith and Jerry Leon Smith. She is survived by: her son Ray T. Simmons of Tangipahoa; and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn T. Smith of Franklinton and Marie Johnson of Central. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
