He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Scott and Artyelee Scott; and his brother Terrell Scott. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kay Burch Scott; his sons, Jason Scott (Emma) and Sean Scott; his stepchildren, Renee McCrory (Brant), Cherron Philippe (Devin) and Burch Allen (Holly); his siblings, Rhonda Townsend (Jessie), Barbara Scott, Randolph Scott, Eric Scott, Blain Scott and Jessie Scott (Anita); his grandchildren, Garret Scott, Mathew Scott, Patrick Scott, Nikolas Zaccone, Dylan Philippe (Kate), Kacie Teague (Will), Dustin Philippe, Christine Allen, Kay Allen, Tessi Allen, Sloan Allen, Layla Daley and Miley Daley; and his great grandchildren, Dixon Philippe, Drew Philippe and Nolan Teague. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McKneely Funeral Home - Kentwood (501 Ave G, Kentwood, LA 70444). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
