She was predeceased by: her parent Rev. H. C. Parker; her husband Charles N. Dykes Sr.; her mother Eunice Knight Parker; her siblings, Doris Cabler, Eloise Lambert, Betty Bankston, H. C. Parker Jr., Harold Parker and Charles Parker; and also Ruby Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Alford (Tim), Mindy Klinger (Michael) and Charles N. Dykes Jr. (Rachel); her grandchildren, Jesse Alford (Molly), Jeremy Alford (Whitney), Carrie Dunn (Joe), Kyle King (Nikki), Kady King, Caleb Dykes (Jordan), Nicholas Dykes (Kristie) and Ethan Dykes; her sister Patricia Rushing; and her caregivers, Carolyn Romero and Barbara Brown. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Fork Baptist Church (17278 LA-1054, Kentwood, LA 70444). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
