She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Cornelious and Veda Mae Travis Young; her sons, Bobby Darren Strickland and Eddie Earl Strickland; her grandson Rodney Darren Strickland; and her daughters-in-law, Rhonda Davis Strickland and Tessie Brabham Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Louis Strickland, Ronnie Eugene Strickland (Verda) of Kentwood and Deborah Marie Strickland of Magnolia; the father of her children Eddie Strickland of Osyka; and also, Joseph of Kentwood, Paula Strickland of Kentwood, Timothy of Kentwood, Becky Strickland of Kentwood, Charlie of Kentwood, Jessica Strickland of Kentwood, Colton Day of Kentwood, Angela Strickland of Kentwood, Trenton Strickland of Hammond, Jennifer, Adam Purser of Summit, Dawn, Sean Marrs of Katy, TX, Irene Carter Mitchell and Eldwin "Cooter" Meyn of Kentwood. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren.
