She was predeceased by: her husband Troy Allen Spears; her parents, Benjamin Franklin Hyde and Ludie Moore Hyde; her daughter Leshia Newman Rohrer; her son-in-law Dickie Newman; and her granddaughter Dana Perilloux.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Spears, Trenton Spears (Tara) and Clinton Spears (Kelly); her grandchildren, Josh Newman, Cody Newman (Ashton), Tonya Newman, Brittany Simeon (Adam), Blake King, Trenton Spears II (Santanna), Shelby Harrison (Elliot), Brandon McElveen (Kayla), Ashlyn Rousse (Roy), Rainey Thibodeaux (Jessica), Ariel Thibodeaux, Kyle Newman (Shelby), Shanea Hayden (David) and Colton Spears (Chelsea); and her son-in-law Karl Rohrer. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
