With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Weston Brumfield of Kentwood, Louisiana, who passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Johnny leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Johnny may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father Johnny Wesley Brumfield; and his brother Melton Jerome Brumfield. He is survived by: his mother Lillie Brumfield; his children, Jermaine, Terrance, Tiffany, Johnathan Brumfield, Keith Warren and Mia Oswald; and his sisters, Fa'Chinnia Miller, Jackie and Jill Huff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Union Chapel AME Church (23011 Silver Creek Rd, Kentwood, LA 70444). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
