John Joseph O'Hern III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Joseph O'Hern III of Kentwood, Louisiana, born in McComb, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn Sue Newcomb. He is survived by: his children, Raven O'Hern (Matthew Woody) and John O'Hern (Lacie); his grandchildren, Mason and Zoe O'Hern; his father Wilburn Dee Newcomb; his siblings, Meg Stephens, Alice McFarlain (Adam) and Mark O'Hern (April); and also, Dos and Drake. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Greenlaw Baptist Church (14407 Greenlaw Church Rd, Kentwood, LA 70444).
As a tribute to Roxy, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to a local animal shelter in lieu of flowers.
