He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter Archer, Sr. and Essie Grace Archer; and his nephew John Arthur Purvis. He is survived by: his sister Lillie Ann Purvis of McComb, MS; and his nephew Russell Lee Purvis. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
