She was predeceased by: her husband Aubrey Sanders; her children, Aubrey Ray Sanders and Marie Hendry; her parents, Obediah Merritt and Jessie Merritt; and her son-in-law Raymond Posey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Posey of Dora, AL and Judy Sanders of Kentwood, LA; her grandchildren, Scott Posey (Karen) of Denham Springs, LA, Denver Posey (Victoria), Kim Sulzby (Jay), Michelle Bridges (Paul), Marcie Grice (James) and Justin Hendry (Dana); and her son-in-law Larry Hendry of Kentwood, LA. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren.
