He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall T. Cutrer and Ruth McGregor Cutrer; and his brothers, Grady Cutrer, Percy Cutrer, Amos Cutrer, Douglas Cutrer, Frank Cutrer and Raymond L. Cutrer.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Myers Cutrer; his children, Ernest Earl "Joe" Cutrer (Lisa), Raymond Reid Cutrer (Brandy), Kevin Kyle Cutrer (Cris) and Sareptha Ellen "Cissy" Cutrer; his grandchildren, Shane Joseph Cutrer (Shelby), Rafe Galen Cutrer, Remi Kathryne Cutrer, Reese Nicole Cutrer, Ramsi Shaye Cutrer, Kevin Patrick Pinell, Lindsay Nicole Pinell and Christopher Andrew Pinell (Baleigh); his great grandchildren, Kevon Pinell and Kaleb Pinell; his nephews, Donald Ray Cutrer, Grady Cutrer, Jr. (Cheri) and Marshall Cutrer (Georgette); and his niece Debbie Cutrer (Ricky). He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.
