We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2023, at the age of 76, Douglas Palmintier of Kentwood, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Palmintier and Maxine Palmintier; his son Corey Palmintier; and his sister Karen Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Susan Palmintier; his pets, Kody, Shadow and Smokey; his grandchildren, Cara, Skylar and Austin Palmintier; his nephews, Doc Simmons (Victoria) and Johnny Simmons (Traci); his niece Kay Wood (Dave); his great-nephews, Wesley Simmons (Lauren) and Wyatt Simmons; and his cousin Melanie Deere.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Richard Murphy Hospice House.
