She was predeceased by: her parents, Dart Brumfield and Nora Bell Washington; her children, Rev. Jimmy Lee Brumfield, Stella Brumfield and Linda Matthews; and her grandchildren, Pamela Matthews and Bradley Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Glendora Matthews of Hammond, LA, Paulette Lewis of Kentwood, LA., Jerry Matthews (Bonnie) of Donville, KY and Eddie Matthews, Jr. (Elaine) of Osyka, MS; and her daughter-in-law Evon Brumfield of Osyka, MS. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 34389 N Martin Rd, Mt Hermon, LA 70450.
