He is survived by: his wife Norvie Hill Thornton; his children, Timothy Wayne Thornton (Jennifer), Bernace Thornton (Krista), David Thornton (Angie), Roxann Dyess (Mark) and Robin Aiken (Jeff); his grandchildren, Nicole, Travis, Zach, Tyler, Ashly, Whitney, Ryan, Tiffany, Shelby, Hailey, Sarah, Kara, Dustin, Kristia, Hannah, Bradyn, Blake and Sherae; and his sisters, Nelda Runnells and Phyllis Thornton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
