He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Sidney Tate, Sr. and Inez Johnson Tate; and his siblings, Mardie McKeithen, Sally Tate, Clinton Sidney Tate, Jr. and David Tate.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Webb Tate; his children, Miranda Erwin (Tate), Bryan Dale Tate, Jr. (Tasha), Brandon S. Tate (Robbie) and Bill McDaniel (Beth); his sisters, Carolyn Brecheen, Pat Robertson and Sandra Boullion; and his grandchildren, Brody Dale Tate, Drew Michael Tate, Brantley H. Tate, Parklyn Tate, Cody McDaniel (Angela), Clint McDaniel (Tonilynn), Cierra McDaniel, Kelsey Erwin, Tyler Erwin, Dacota McDaniel (Kelly), Blayde McDaniel and Will McNabb (Alaina). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Kentwood (500 5th St, Kentwood, LA 70444). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
