Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Betty leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Edward "Bud" Hatcher; her parents, Willis Lamar McDaniel and Cora Addison McDaniel; and her brother Claiborne Lamar McDaniel. She is survived by: her son Jimmie Lamar Hatcher (Barbara Davis Hatcher); her grandsons, Major Lamar Hatcher (Charita Rayborn Hatcher) and Justin Blake Hatcher (Sarah Lea Hatcher); her great grandchildren, Ella Grace Hatcher and Emily Morgan Hatcher; her niece Melanie Cummings (Mark Cummings); and her great-niece Mici Cummings.
