He is survived by: his son Richard'Richie'Powell (Carla); his stepdaughters, Dena Guyn and Donna Rogers; his stepbrothers, Darryl Addison, Byron Addison and Warren Addison (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Hunter Powell, Victoria Powell, Haley Wilkinson (John), Andrew Peters, Rachel Starrett (Haden), Jeremiah Danhour and Jamie McLemore; and his great grandchildren, Carley Wilkinson, Ryder Starrett, Remi Starrett, Waylon King and Jordyn James Peters. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
