He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Strickland and Juanita Strickland; his sister Bonnie Coon; and his nephew Rusty Aull. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Darlene Strickland; his children, Tina Chambliss (Heath) and J. D. Strickland (Meagan); his sister Virgie Aull (Russell); his grandchildren, Destinee Chambliss McElveen (Brodie), Larissa Denise Strickland, Brenna Cheyenne, Aaron Chambliss (Jennifer) and Austin Chambliss (Roxanne); and his great grandchildren, Laythen Chambliss, Zayn Chambliss, Kanon Chambliss, Caysen McElveen, Aubrey McElveen and Ryland Strickland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
