She is survived by: her husband Russell Howell; her children, Cecilia Horton Fletcher, Valorie Eakins, Leon St. Cyr, John David Eakins (Sandy), Joseph Wayne Eakins (Jude) and Steven Wayne Howell; her sisters, Betty Mixon Woods (Larry) and Cheryl Mixon Catt (David); her grandchildren, Nathaniel Lee Horton, Alison Rose Chapman, Isabella Eakins, Milo Eakins, Whittney Eakins, Brittany Eakins, Tiffany Eakins Arcement, Christopher Eakins and Kristin Head; and her great grandchildren, Palmer James Garren, Lilly Arcement and Violet Arcement.
